Help
The following terms apply to every transaction and/or purchase of a domain name via the WebSell website. On the WebSell website, you can easily and reliably purchase quality domain names for a wide variety of websites.
WebSell offers several payment methods. You may choose payment by IBAN bank transfer or via PayPal. If you choose PayPal, WebSell may charge an additional 5% PayPal transaction fee. Please take this into account. If you choose payment by bank transfer, no transaction fees will be charged. Transaction fees apply exclusively to payments made via PayPal.
After purchase, you will become the legal owner (subject to approval) of the domain name. This means that once the domain name has been registered in your name (for which you will receive a form), you may transfer it to a provider of your choice. Every purchase of a domain name is reviewed and must be approved manually.
Being the buyer of the domain name means that you may use it as long as you pay the annual renewal invoice issued by your chosen provider for maintaining the domain registration. Purchasing a domain name does not mean that you own it permanently without renewal obligations.
If you purchase a .eu and/or .be domain name via WebSell, you will receive an email within a few business days from EURid (the registrar for .eu) and/or DNS Belgium (the registrar for .be). The relevant email will contain further instructions on how to complete the transfer into your name and/or company name. Similar procedures apply for other extensions (TLDs), which you must follow accordingly. WebSell will of course assist you throughout this process. In many cases, you will also be required to sign a document confirming that you are taking over a domain name from WebSell.
A specific procedure also applies to .nl domain names in order to transfer the domain name into your name after purchase/payment. WebSell will gladly assist you in completing this process as quickly and correctly as possible for both parties. Once all procedures have been completed correctly, you will be the actual owner of the domain name, and WebSell will provide you with a transfer token so that you may transfer the domain name to a registrar and/or provider of your choice.
WebSell reserves the right at all times to cancel a transaction. In such cases, any amount paid will be refunded to the buyer together with the reason. As WebSell is the full owner of all domain names offered on its website (websell.eu), this is unlikely to occur; however, we are legally required to state this for general protection. By completing the transaction, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
After issuing the transfer token, WebSell grants the buyer 60 days to transfer the domain name to another registrar and/or provider. If the domain name has not been transferred after 60 days, ownership will revert to WebSell and the purchase will be cancelled. The former buyer will no longer have any (legal) claim to the domain name. No refund will be issued, and WebSell may offer the domain name for sale again. If the former buyer wishes to purchase the domain name again, this will be possible at 50% of the original or current sales price (whichever is higher), provided the domain name is still available.
Finally, WebSell places great importance on customer privacy. Therefore, we do not store customer data. Once a domain name has been sold via WebSell, customer data is removed from our systems. A paper copy may be retained for legal purposes only. This ensures that your data cannot be misused by other parties or third parties, unlike many companies today.
The above provisions apply to all forms of communication with WebSell (both incoming and outgoing) and apply to future as well as past transactions. The information on this page shall always prevail.
This page and all other pages on the WebSell website are subject to typographical errors and omissions.
